Management Policies

At SKR Legal Solicitors we have set policies in place to ensure high standards and quality practices are consistently met. Members have been engrained with details of such policies so that the service provided is always first rate and excellent.

Details of such policies are as follows:

  • Client Care Policy: SKR Legal Solicitors is committed to providing a high quality professional service to clients. The Firm strives to ensure that its advice is expert, accurate, cost effective, and communicated in a manner that is appropriate for each client.
  • Community and Social Responsibility Policy: As part of our social responsibility, we recognise our responsibility towards protection of the environment and believe that businesses are responsible for achieving good environmental practice and operating in a sustainable manner. We are therefore committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral and fundamental part of our business strategy and operating methods.
  • Conflict of Interest Policy: When creating a new client record, the fee earner must complete a conflict of interest check.
  • Email Policy: Each member of the firm has a safe and secure email addresses.
  • Environmental Policy: SKR Legal recognises its responsibility towards protection of the environment. We believe that businesses are responsible for achieving good environmental practice and operating in a sustainable manner. We are therefore committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral and fundamental part of our business strategy and operating methods.
  • Equality and diversity policy: The Firm is committed to eliminating discrimination and promoting equality and diversity in its own policies, practices and procedures and in those areas in which it has influence, including in any outsourced activity.
  • Health and Safety Policy: The Firm is committed to providing for the health, safety and welfare of all employees and to maintaining standards at least equal to the best practice in the legal profession.
  • Information Management Policy: The Firm has mechanisms in place to ensure client’s data is never disclosed without the client’s permission and information is stored safely and securely.
  • Internet Access Policy: The Firm is connected to the internet by Broadband, and access to the internet is available from all the Firm’s workstations throughout business hours.
  • Outsourcing Policy: SKR Legal Solicitors has a strict outsourcing policy.
  • Performance Management Policy: The policy aims to provide a framework for a clear and consistent assessment of the overall performance of the Principal and all staff, and for supporting their development within the context of the Firm’s business plan and their own professional needs.
  • Risk Management Policy: The Firm has in place a policy for the identification, monitoring and management of strategic, operational and regulatory risk – and for putting matters right if need be.
