Keerat joined SKR Legal Solicitors in 2010 after having completed his LLB, LLM and LPC and specialises in Criminal Defence and Family Law. He is an accredited police station representative and has previously worked on very high profile criminal cases ranging from serious crime, rape, drug cases, complex fraud cases and serious road traffic offences. His assistance at police stations has often led to glowing feedback from clients, and specific requests for his attendance at the same.

He also has extensive experience in divorce, matrimonial finance cases, cohabitation disputes, pre-nuptial agreements and arrangements for children. Keerat is based in the Derby office, but he regularly meets with clients in our Leicester office.

His experience allows him to deal with clients in a calm and sensitive manner in relation to Family Law proceedings, which assists him in taking comprehensive instructions; whilst robustly defending and preparing his clients cases from the Police station to Crown Court stages.

Keerat also has significant experience of Immigration Law, and has assisted numerous clients with leave to remain applications and challenging decisions through reconsideration. He actively holds a surgery once a week in the local community in Leicester advising on these issues.

Keerat began his training contract with the firm in 2012 and qualified in February 2014.

Keerat has been accredited as a Criminal Defence Duty Solicitor.
